About Artist:
Award winner on 2 continents, Romanian born Mella Roman earned her fine arts degree in 1988, at the University of Fine Arts Bucharest, Romania. Now livng and working in Oakville Ontario, she imports blown and slumped glass from Europe then applies her unique art style to this classic medium. Once the porcelain paint is applied each piece is kiln fired. This gives the final piece its lustre and durability.
