About Artist:
ABOUT THE ARTIST Bob hails from the Southwest US hence the name of his company, Desert Winds. He came to British Columbia on vacation in the early 70s, was absolutely awestruck by mountains, rivers and trees and never left Bob is a self-taught, award winning wood turner.

Statement:
ABOUT THE ART Bob turns out. wonder after wonder. His two greatest accomplishments around his work are the tools he must invent and manufacture in order to achieve what he wants from the raw wood. And his aknowledgement that Mother Nature is the real artist and he allows us to realize the full beauty of her work by doing less.
